Hi, I’m Wendy and I’m the face behind Healthy Clean and Green.
I’ve always loved being out and about admiring the natural beauty of the world. Choosing the healthier, greener, choice has been something that I’ve been doing for as long as I can remember. I dabbled in re-usable shopping bags and water bottles way before it was considered ‘a thing’ and as I’d learn about something that was better for environment, I’d make the change. It just seemed like the right thing to do.
When my children came along, I got serious about getting toxic chemicals and nasty products out of my home and started actively searching for ‘better choices’. The more I learnt, the more I changed.
Towards the end of 2016 a simple cup of tea with a friend became the catalyst for what is now Healthy Clean and Green. A regular in my home, she started asking questions about the wooden toothbrush in my bathroom, and I started talking… and talking… and talking! It was then I realised that many people just don’t know the damage that some products are doing to our health and to the planet or that there are better choices available. Six months later, in March 2017, Healthy Clean and Green – an online and market stall business, was launched with a big focus on education.
Whether we realise it or not, every choice we make impacts the environment, and those around us, in some way.
I want to make it easy and affordable for you to incorporate changes into your everyday life that are better for you and better for the planet. Educating, inspiring and guiding people, that’s why I started Healthy Clean and Green.
As a wife, mum, friend and business owner I have the same time and budget constraints as a lot of people; so while I am always on the lookout for ‘better’, it has to be affordable and convenient too.
