Soap Nuts are the seed pod of a macadamia sized berry from the Sapindus Mukorossi (or Soap Nut Tree!) which is cracked open and dried in the sun, producing a sticky, dark golden shell. These shells an be placed into a small bag and used in the washing machine instead of laundry detergent and fabric softener. Clothes will be left clean, soft and without scent.
